Local Breweries Continue to Win Awards

Congratulations are in order for Great Divide Brewing Co. and Left Hand Brewing Co.  Both breweries took home awards at the 2007 European Beer Star Award competition this past October.  Winners were announced the week before Thanksgiving.  The European Beer Star competition is somewhat still in its infancy, but is quickly gaining in credibility along the likes of the World Beer Cup as well as the Great American Beer Festival.  The competition focuses on character and innovative beers.

Titan IPA - Silver: English-Style India Pale Ale Category

Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout - Silver: Stout “Imperial Stout” Category

Left Hand Brewing Co. (Longmont, CO)

Milk Stout - Silver: Sweet Stout (”Cream Stout”) Category
