Mass Transit Ale

Mass Transit Ale is my first go around with Bristol Brewing Company.  Bristol Brewing Co. is located in Colorado Springs, CO and have been hand-brewing for almost 15 years now and they claim to use only natural ingredients.  I guess that’s a good start.  Next time I’m in the Springs I’m going to have to swing by and follow up on that.

My take:  Mass Transit is an amber style ale that has a carmelly aroma.  There was a slight bitterness, but went down very even, or smooth.  Like it’s namesake, I think most people will be able to handle drinking this brew.  It’s kind of a middle of the road amber ale that I would guess people are not going to love nor hate.  Go ahead and give it a try and let me know what you think.

On a side note, Bristol Brewing Company is tapping their Red Rocket Cask Ale this Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 12:00pm until 9:00pm, so if you’re in the Springs or have a little extra time swing by.  I hope to make it down.
